Prin exerciţii sufleteşti se ajunge la a pune nervul &icirc;ntr-o asemenea tensiune, &icirc;nc&acirc;t activitatea lui nu mai pătrunde &icirc;n s&acirc;nge, ci este respinsă &icirc;n căile nervoase. &Icirc;ntruc&acirc;t s&acirc;ngele este unealta Eului, un om, care, prin concentrarea simţirii şi g&acirc;ndurilor, şi-a eliberat sistemul nervos de căile sangvine se simte străin faţă de fiinţa lui obişnuită, scos din sine. C&acirc;nd te afli &icirc;n prezenţa lumii &icirc;nconjurătoare te simţi străin faţă de fiinţele şi lucrurile lumii exterioare &ndash; animale, plante şi aşa mai departe &ndash;, te simţi trăind undeva l&acirc;ngă ele şi &icirc;n afara lor. Se ştie că atunci c&acirc;nd ai &icirc;n faţă o floare g&acirc;ndeşti: Floarea este acolo şi eu sunt aici. Altceva simţi atunci c&acirc;nd te urci &icirc;n lumea spirituală &icirc;n felul descris, smulg&acirc;ndu-ţi sistemul nervos, ridic&acirc;ndu-te din Eul tău. Acum nu mai simţi că ai &icirc;n faţă o fiinţă străină; este ca şi cum cealaltă fiinţă intră &icirc;n tine şi te-ai simţi una cu ea. Este &icirc;ngăduit să spunem că clarvăzătorul &icirc;nvaţă să cunoască lumea spirituală prin observarea avansată a acelei lumi spirituale de care suntem legati, şi care ajunge la noi, &icirc;n parte, prin sistemul nervos, chiar dacă &icirc;n viaţa normală ea ni se revelează mai &icirc;nt&acirc;i pe calea ocolită a impresiilor senzoriale. Aceasta este lumea spirituală despre care, &icirc;n starea sa de conştienţă normală, omul nu ştie nimic la &icirc;nceput. Este aceeaşi lume care se &icirc;nscrie, totuşi, pe tăbliţa s&acirc;ngelui nostru, adică &icirc;n Eul nostru. Putem spune că la baza a tot ce ne &icirc;nconjoară &icirc;n lumea exterioară există o lume spirituală. O vedem ca printr-un văl, ţesut de &icirc;nseşi impresiile noastre senzoriale. &Icirc;n conştienţa normală, orizontul Eului se &icirc;ntinde p&acirc;nă la acest văl şi nu vedem lumea spirituală care este &icirc;n spatele lui. Dar &icirc;n momentul &icirc;n care ne eliberăm de Eul nostru, impresiile senzoriale se sting, nu le mai avem, ne ridicăm pentru a vieţui &icirc;ntr-o lume spirituală. Este aceeaşi lume spirituală care se găseşte &icirc;n spatele impresiilor senzoriale, lume cu care ne unim atunci c&acirc;nd scoatem sistemul nervos din organismul obişnuit sangvin.</span></span></span></p>

Ieri v-am atras atenţia asupra faptului că, &icirc;n viaţa interioară organică, fizică a omului, putem vedea ceva asemănător cu o lume exterioară comprimată &icirc;n ficat, vezica biliară şi splină. Din această cauză, putem spune că, aşa cum s&acirc;ngele străbate creierul, &icirc;n partea de sus a organismului &ndash; unde intră &icirc;n contact cu lumea exterioară &ndash;, şi aceasta se &icirc;nt&acirc;mplă deoarece impresiile senzoriale acţionează asupra creierului, tot aşa, circul&acirc;nd prin corp, s&acirc;ngele intră &icirc;n legătură cu organele interne, dintre care am luat &icirc;n considerare &icirc;n primul r&acirc;nd ficatul, vezica biliară şi splina. Dacă &icirc;n aceste organe s&acirc;ngele nu vine &icirc;n contact cu o lume exterioară, este din cauză că ele nu se deschid spre exterior, ca organele de simţ, ci sunt &icirc;nchise &icirc;năuntru, sunt acoperite din toate părţile, &icirc;n aşa fel &icirc;nc&acirc;t nu desfăşoară dec&acirc;t o viaţă interioară. Ficatul, splina, bila pot acţiona asupra s&acirc;ngelui &icirc;n funcţie de propria lor natură. Ele nu primesc impresii exterioare, ca urechea sau ochiul, şi nu pot, aşadar, nici să transmită s&acirc;ngelui informaţii venite din afară; &icirc;şi pot exprima doar propria natură, &icirc;n acţiunile lor asupra s&acirc;ngelui. C&acirc;nd contemplăm lumea interioară, &icirc;n care parcă se află comprimată o lume exterioară, putem să spunem: Aici acţionează o lume exterioară interiorizată asupra s&acirc;ngelui, dacă poate acţiona.</span></span></span></p>

Trebuie ca &bdquo;lumea interioară&quot; să acţioneze mai &icirc;nt&acirc;i asupra unui sistem nervos, pentru ca actiunea lui să poată fi transmisă s&acirc;ngelui. Compar&acirc;nd partea superioară şi partea inferioară a organismului, suntem obligaţi să formulăm premisa existenţei unui sistem nervos intercalat &icirc;ntre circulaţie şi organele interne, reprezentate prin ficat, splină şi bilă. Observaţia exterioară ne confirmă existenţa acestui element; este intercalat sistemul nervos vegetativ sau simpatic, care umple cavitatea trunchiului. Relaţiile lui cu lumea interioară şi circulaţia se aseamănă cu relaţiile pe care le are sistemul nervos central cu lumea exterioară şi cu viaţa omului &ndash; şi cu circulaţia. Sistemul neurovegetativ &icirc;nsoţeşte la &icirc;nceput coloana vertebrală, apoi se extinde şi străbate diferitele părti ale organismului. &Icirc;n cavitatea trunchiului, el prezintă formaţiuni reticulare &ndash; una dintre acestea este cunoscută sub numele popular de plex solar. Trebuie să ne aşteptăm ca sistemul vegetativ să se deosebească &icirc;ntr-un anumit sens de celălalt sistem nervos. Ar fi interesant să ne &icirc;ntrebăm &ndash; chiar dacă aceasta serveşte ca o dovadă &ndash; cum ar putea fi structurat acest sistem neuro-vegetativ &icirc;n comparaţie cu sistemul nervos central, dacă condiţiile ipotetice puse sunt satisfăcute. Şi aşa cum noi nu vedem nervul &ndash; căci nimeni nu-şi poate vedea nervul optic &ndash; ci ceea ce trebuie perceput prin nervi, adică lumea exterioară care pătrunde &icirc;n conştienţa noastră, tot astfel, &icirc;n cobor&acirc;rea mistică, &icirc;n conştienţă nu pătrund mai &icirc;nt&acirc;i nervii interiori, care nu sunt perceputi, căci omul conştientizează numai că are &icirc;n aceştia un instrument prin intermediul căruia poate privi &icirc;n interiorul său. Se &icirc;nt&acirc;mplă &icirc;nsă un lucru: capacităţii de cunoaştere a omului, devenită clarvăzătoare spre interior, &icirc;i apare lumea interioară. Aşa cum lumea exterioară se desfăşoară &icirc;n faţa privirilor noastre fără să devenim conştienţi de existenţa nervilor, la fel şi sistemul vegetativ nu intră &icirc;n conştienţă, ci lumea interioară este cea care ni se &icirc;nfătişează. Numai că această lume interioară care pătrunde &icirc;n conştienţa noastră suntem noi &icirc;nşine, ca persoane fizice.</span></span></span></p>

El ar putea &icirc;nsă g&acirc;ndi şi astfel: Văd şi ceva corect &icirc;n faptul că atunci c&acirc;nd devin clarvăzător prin sistemul meu neurovegetativ &icirc;mi văd ficatul, vezica biliară, splina. Acesta este un adevăr! Cred că nu este cu totul probabil, dar se poate totuşi &icirc;nt&acirc;mpla. Dar lucrurile nu stau chiar aşa. De fapt, omul &icirc;şi vede din afară ficatul, bila, splina, la fel cum vede şi celelalte obiecte exterioare. &Icirc;n viaţa de toate zilele, trebuie să ne examinăm organismul prin simţuri, prin nervii noştri. Ceea ce cunoaşteti prin anatomia şi fiziologia obişnuită &ndash; şi anume ceea ce numim ficat, vezică biliară, splină &ndash; sunt organe văzute din exterior, prin intermediul sistemului nervos, al creierului şi al măduvei spinării. Le vedeţi din exterior, aşa cum vedeţi toate celelalte lucruri. Dar cu totul alta este situaţia c&acirc;nd poţi deveni clarvăzător şi c&acirc;nd priveşti spre interior prin intermediul sistemului neurovegetativ sau simpatic. Vezi lucrurile pentru care clarvăzătorii tuturor timpurilor au ales nume at&acirc;t de ciudate, pe care vi le-am citat &icirc;n conferinţa a doua.</span></span></span></p>

Aspectul lor exterior nu le dezvăluie importanţa interioară esenţială. &Icirc;n realitate se vede cu totul altceva atunci c&acirc;nd lumea interioară poate fi urmărită din cealaltă parte, adică cu ochiul clarvăzător &icirc;ntors spre interior. Se conştientizează astfel din ce &icirc;n ce mai bine de ce clarvăzătorii tuturor timpurilor au pus &icirc;n relaţie activitatea splinei cu cea a lui Saturn, activitatea ficatului cu cea a lui Jupiter şi cea a bilei cu activitatea lui Marte. Ceea ce se vede astfel &icirc;n propriul interior este, de fapt, cu totul diferit de ceea ce poate oferi privirea exterioară. Se conştientizează aici că, &icirc;n organe interioare limitate, te afli &icirc;n faţa unor enclave ale lumii exterioare. Astfel devine clar ceva ce trebuie să ne servească drept exemplu pentru acest mod de a ajunge la cunoaştere. Vedem cum această lume a cunoaşterii, care conduce deasupra observaţiei obişnuite, trebuie să se aplice, de asemenea, vietii organismului. Te poti convinge, de exemplu, că splina este un organ extrem de important. El apare contemplării interioare ca şi cum nu ar fi alcătuit din substanţă exterioară, carnală, şi, dacă este &icirc;ngăduită expresia, deşi ea nu poate să redea dec&acirc;t aproximativ realitatea, splina se prezintă ca un corp ceresc luminos &icirc;n miniatură, cu o viaţă interioară foarte complicată. V-am atras ieri atenţia asupra faptului că splina &ndash; văzută din afară &ndash; poate fi descrisă ca un ţesut foarte vascularizat, av&acirc;nd incluşi corpusculii albi despre care am vorbit. Plec&acirc;nd de la o astfel de examinare exterioară, se poate spune că s&acirc;ngele care se răsp&acirc;ndeşte &icirc;n interiorul splinei trece prin ea ca printr-o sită. Dar, dacă se observă splina dinăuntru, ea apare &icirc;n primul r&acirc;nd ca un organ care are o mişcare interioară ritmică, datorită diverselor forţe pe care le-am mentionat. Putem avea un fel de presentiment al importanţei ritmului &icirc;n existenţa generală a lumii atunci c&acirc;nd recunoaştem &icirc;n mod exterior ritmul &icirc;n pulsul sangvin. &Icirc;l recunoaştem &icirc;nsă aici, din exterior, şi tot dinspre exterior &icirc;l putem urmări raportat de asemenea la splină. Este destul de uşor să-l urmărim exact, şi &icirc;i putem căuta confirmarea prin observaţia exterioară. Pentru privirea clarvăzătoare &icirc;ntoarsă spre interior, toate modificările splinei, care se petrec ca &icirc;ntr-un corp luminos, există pentru a-i imprima un anumit ritm &icirc;n viaţă. Acest ritm al splinei diferă considerabil de alte ritmuri pe care le percepem &icirc;n viaţă: este mult mai putin regulat dec&acirc;t celelalte, despre care vom mai vorbi. Acest lucru se &icirc;nt&acirc;mplă pentru că splina este &icirc;n vecinătatea aparatului digestiv şi are de-a face cu el. Un om c&acirc;t de c&acirc;t ordonat ia mesele la ore fixe, şi prin aceasta se supune unui anumit ritm. Dar se poate şi să nu ţinem seama de acest obicei; din păcate, aşa este. Se &icirc;ntreţine lăcomia unor copii, cărora li se dă să măn&acirc;nce &icirc;n momentul c&acirc;nd cer, făc&acirc;ndu-se abstracţie de orice ritmuri. Nici adulţii nu menţin un ritm corect &icirc;n ceea ce priveşte băutul şi m&acirc;ncatul &ndash; nu trebuie să luăm totuşi aceste &icirc;nvăţăminte &icirc;ntr-un mod pedant, căci viaţa modernă nu le face posibile &icirc;ntotdeauna. Se ştie de multă vreme c&acirc;t de neregulat se &icirc;nfulecă hrana şi c&acirc;t de neregulat se bea. Aceste obiceiuri nu trebuie deci blamate, ci doar menţionate. Ceea ce realizăm &icirc;ntr-un mod at&acirc;t de deficitar din punct de vedere al ritmului trebuie să fie reglementat treptat, pentru a se putea integra &icirc;n ritmul regulat al organismului nostru. Iregularitatea cea mai mare trebuie eliminată. Dar se poate &icirc;nt&acirc;mpla ca o persoană care şi-a făcut un obicei din a-şi lua micul dejun la ora opt şi pr&acirc;nzul la două să fie nevoită să meargă la un bun prieten, unde, dintr-o lăudabilă politeţe, i se impune să servească ceva &icirc;ntre mese. Astfel, ritmul organismului său este considerabil deranjat, printr-o acţiune precisă. &Icirc;n acest caz trebuie să existe un organ care să &icirc;ntărească ceea ce este regulat &icirc;n aportul alimentar şi care să slăbească ceea ce se introduce &icirc;n mod neregulat, pentru a echilibra neregularitatea cea mai importantă. Astfel, la trecerea alimentelor &icirc;n ritmul sangvin se impune să existe inserat un organ care echilibrează iregularitatea hrănirii, prin raportare la regularitatea necesară a ritmului sangvin. Şi acest organ este splina! Putem ajunge astfel la anumite procese ritmice obţin&acirc;nd pentru splină cu rol de coordonator pentru reglarea neregularităţilor din tractul digestiv, pentru ca ele să devină regularităţi &icirc;n circulaţia s&acirc;ngelui. &Icirc;n cursul anilor de studiu, de exemplu, ar fi fatal ca ingestia neregulată a alimentelor să-şi poată prelungi acţiunea p&acirc;nă &icirc;n s&acirc;nge. Trebuie realizat un echilibru printr-un &bdquo;şoc de retur&quot;, &bdquo;şoc de &icirc;ntoarcere&quot;. S&acirc;ngele nu trebuie &icirc;ncărcat dec&acirc;t p&acirc;nă la limita lui de toleranţă. Aceasta este sarcina splinei, inserată &icirc;n circulaţie, iradiindu-şi acţiunea ritmicizantă &icirc;n &icirc;ntreg organismul uman. Prin observaţia exterioară, prin cercetarea fiziologică, este foarte greu să descoperi rolul splinei, pe care &icirc;l observă ochiul devenit clarvăzător spre &icirc;năuntru. Şi pentru cercetarea exterioară reiese că splina prezintă un anumit ritm: volumul său creşte &icirc;n orele de după ingestia unui pr&acirc;nz copios şi revine la dimensiunile normale după un oarecare timp. Pentru cercetările fiziologice exterioare este foarte greu să se stabilească sarcina splinei.</span></span></span></p>

Dacă sunteţi conştienţi de faptul că organismul nu este suma organelor sale - aşa cum este descris adesea -, ci că toate aceste organe trimit cele mai discrete acţiuni ale lor &icirc;n toate părţile organisinului, vă veţi putea reprezenta şi că mişcările ritmice ale splinei, dependente &icirc;nsă de lumea exterioară, şi anume, declanşate de ingestia hranei, pot acţiona &icirc;n sensul echilibrării &icirc;n &icirc;ntregul organism. Acesta este numai unul din modurile &icirc;n care acţionează splina. Este imposibil să le enumerăm pe toate. Pentru că nu toată lumea poate deveni clarvăzătoare, ar fi extrem de interesant dacă aceste lucruri ar fi acceptate de către fiziologia exterioară ca &bdquo;idee exterioară&quot;; de exemplu: Aş vrea să-mi reprezint că rezultatele investigării prin clarvedere nu sunt at&acirc;t de false pe c&acirc;t se presupune at&acirc;t de des şi să cercetez ceea ce poate verifica fiziologia exterioară, dacă afirmaţiile ocultiştilor pot fi confirmate prin observare exterioară.</span></span></span></p>
